As a consultant engineer to BAe during the HOTOL project, invented and patented the RB545 engine design. Since forming Reaction Engines in 1989, managed evolution of HOTOL into SKYLON. |

Joined Reaction Engines in 1995 and is responsible for strategy, sources of funding and Secretary to the Board. |

Dr John Garrod - Non-executive Director of Business Development.
Ex-AEA Technology with extensive background in nuclear research and fusion technology. Responsible for 300 staff as General Manager and grew sales in US and Europe as Head of Physics Technology Department. Finally New Ventures Manager before retiring in 2004. PhD in Thermodynamics. Joined Reaction Engines in 1996. |

Gordon Harrison - Production Director
Wide experience in production, manufacturing techniques and project management. Joined Leyland as a tool room apprentice and served with them for 24 years in their radiators branch. Started at UKAEA in 1985 and became manager of Special Purposes workshop. Began at REL in 2005 and has grown the production section of the company. Currently manages engineering activities at Brite Precision and Crossmans Engineering following their acquisition by REL in November 2009. |

Reaction Engines: fundraised to enable its establishment at Culham in 2003 with offices, laboratories, wind tunnel and world-class aerospace engine test facility; elected Chairman 2010. Richard Varvill - Technical Director and Chief Designer
10-year career with Rolls Royce, Military Engine Division working on advanced gas turbine concepts (EJ200, Hybrid Fan Vectored Thrust Engine and ACME). Responsible for design work on HOTOL’s RB545 engines and winged launcher studies for European Space Agency. Founding Director of Reaction Engines. |
