Company News Reaction Engines Ltd has recently acquired two new manufacturing companies in the local area: Crossman Engineering Ltd specialising in fabrication and Brite Precision in precision machining. The acquisition of both companies has significantly extended Reaction Engines Ltd’s production capabilities, which is essential to our future programme for SKYLON. The ECM Machines at our heat exchanger production facility have now been assembled and commissioned; they are functioning as expected.
We moved premises at the beginning of this month and are now located upstairs in the Innovation Centre with much more space!


General News On 19th November, Alan Bond gave the prestigious Brabazon Lecture at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London entitled ‘Can the United Kingdom be the Vanguard of a New Space Age?’ The atmosphere was fantastic with so many attendees believing in the future of UK space and its capabilities.
