Nigel McNair Scott - Chairman

Mark Thomas - Chief Executive Officer

Mark is driving the growth of the Company and setting the future direction of the business. He leads the Executive Leadership Team.

Tom Scrope - Chief Financial Officer

Tom began his career qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. Most recently he was Group Finance Director for Minit Group, a pan-European retail business with 1100 stores, having previously been at Carphone Warehouse, where he was divisional Finance Director for the UK retail business. BSc. (Dunelm), ACA, MBA (INSEAD).

Christopher Allam - Director

Chris Allam has been Engineering Director of BAE Systems’ Military Air & Information (MAI) business and a member of the MAI Board since 2013. In this role he is responsible for leadership and governance of all Engineering and Project Management activity within BAE Systems’ military aerospace business.

Previous roles within BAE Systems include Senior Vice President of F-35 Lightning II (2011), Managing Director of Autonomous Systems and Future Capability (2008), and Project Director for Unmanned Air Vehicles within BAE Systems’ Future Systems division (2006).

Jonathan Hale - Non-Executive Director

Jonathan was appointed to the Board of Reaction Engines Ltd. in 2015 as Non-Executive Director.

Jonathan has an MBA from Harvard School of Business Administration and an MA and BA from Cambridge University in Metallurgy and Materials Science, and has over 35 years of commercial and financial experience in the aerospace, energy, mining and consulting sectors.

Prior to joining C-FEC, a revolutionary wind turbine company, Jonathan was Director of Corporate Strategy for Rolls Royce plc and a member of its Group Executive, retiring in 2010. He was responsible for corporate strategy, M&A, development of new businesses and partnerships, and commercialisation of technology. ​Jonathan has also worked for Anglo American in South Africa; Fluor in San Francisco; LEK Consulting in London, where he was a Senior Partner, and Ascot, a fine and speciality chemicals company, as head of Corporate Finance and Strategy.

David McNair Scott - Non-Executive Director

David was appointed to the board of Reaction Engines Ltd in 2014 as a Non-Executive Director.

David trained as a Chartered Accountant at Dixon Wilson, then went on to fulfill a number of Finance and Commercial roles as a Director of Complinet Limted (purchased by Thomson Reuters July 2009,) a global software and information business. David has held a number of global and regional sales leadership roles at Thomson Reuters since acquisition and is currently Head of Strategy Planning for Thomson Reuters Europe.

Nigel McNair Scott

Nigel was appointed to the Board of Reaction Engines Ltd. in 2010 as Non-Executive Chairman. He gained his early experience in Charter Consolidated and Anglo American Corporation of South Africa. Nigel has also served as Non-Executive Director of Johnson Matthey and Govett Strategic Investment Trust, and was Chairman of Avocet Mining for 17 years. From 1987 to 2012 he was Finance Director and is now Chairman of Helical Bar. MA Oxon, FCA, FCT.

Mark Thomas
