Materials Internship (Summer Placement)

Reaction Engines is a UK-based company formed in 1989 to design and develop the technologies needed for a new class of innovative hypersonic propulsion system – the Synergetic Air-Breathing Rocket Engine (SABRE™).

The role will involve working in the Materials team assisting with materials research alongside engineers across the company. This will likely include materials and processing selection, materials testing and characterisation as well as more detailed investigations.  You will gain technical knowledge and experience on materials behaviour during many processes, environments and conditions.
