Talent Acquisition Partner / Internal Recruiter

Reaction Engines is seeking a confident and influential Talent Acquisition Partner / Internal Recruiter to join the HR Department.



 



The Role



To provide both strategic and operational support to specific business areas and to ensure their resource needs are met on time and within budget.



 



Accountabilities and Responsibilities




  • Manage recruitment campaigns from start to finish for all permanent, fixed term and contract opportunities. This includes, attraction, sourcing, assessing through to offer and onboarding

  • Work with vacancy managers to advise on the best recruitment strategy utilising both direct and indirect sourcing methods

  • Develop the skills and competence of vacancy managers to recruit diverse talent and take fair evidence-based decisions

  • Be the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries

  • Coach vacancy managers to improve interviewing, assessment and selection competence

  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects

  • Cover for HR colleagues when on leave 

  • Regularly review market trends, benchmarking and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates

  • Attend and participate in resource allocation meetings

  • Manage and prioritise multiple searches, projects and relationships to tight deadlines with high volumes

  • Directly source candidates using a range of methods and tools,

  • Build and maintain talent pools of pre-screened candidates

  • Screen CVs and conduct telephone interviews

  • Work on resourcing improvement projects such as employer branding, diversity and inclusion, direct sourcing and candidate experience

  • Reporting and trend capturing to ensure improvements are continuously considered to improve our recruitment strategy

  • Establish develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to Reaction Engines’ corporate objectives

  • Observe and comply with all company policies and procedures and for Health and Safety at Work

  • Observe and continually promote equal opportunities and customer care in compliance with organisational aims and objectives

  • Participate in learning and development activities that develop personal effectiveness and assist in improving performance in the role

  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation



 



Experience



Essential




  • Experience of direct sourcing using a variety of methods

  • Experience in an in- house recruitment role

  • Knowledge and understanding of statutory legislation relating to recruitment



 



Qualifications



Desirable




  • A qualification in a recognised psychometric assessment tool

  • CIPD Qualified

This role attracts a competitive salary and excellent company benefits including 28 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days after 2 years’ service) plus public holidays, employee share scheme, employer matching company pension scheme, life assurance and a contribution towards onsite nursery childcare for children under 3 years of age.  We also offer dynamic working where employees split their time working from home and from our office in Culham (average 2 days per week).



 



Salary: £30,000 to £42,000 (DOE)



Contract: Permanent



Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
