Reaction Engines, has today welcomed its new intake of graduates following the success of the inaugural year of its graduate scheme in 2017.

The new graduates will take part in a two-year programme with six-month placements across different aspects of the business. They will spend time in technical and non-technical departments before spending their final six months in their target area of career choice. In addition to this, graduates will spend time working on their professional development, take part in group tasks and represent the company at various external events.

Mark Wood, Engineering Director, said ‘Reaction Engines’ first graduate intake in 2017 was hugely successful, and the talented individuals that joined us a year ago have made a real contribution to our business and our development of the unique SABRE air-breathing rocket engine. Our graduate scheme gives individuals exposure to the full range of the company, where they not only learn valuable skills but also bring in new ideas and ways of working. Developing skills and knowledge is hugely important to us as a company as it enables us to develop future engineers and leaders of our business.’

Students interested in applying for Reaction Engine’s 2019 Graduate intake can find further details at Applications open in October 2018.
