Reaction Engines' Response to Covid-19

Wed, 2020-04-01 13:50

The impact of Covid-19 is being felt by individuals and families, companies and communities across the world and we are all finding ways to adapt to these exceptional circumstances.

We are committed to ensuring our employees and partners are informed and kept up to date with our response to this rapidly changing situation.

New ways of working

In line with government guidelines and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, our current position as a business is that our main office and manufacturing facilities at Culham, Oxfordshire will most likely remain closed until the end of May. Should this position change, we will update this section accordingly.

Protecting colleagues

We have swiftly mobilised our staff in the UK and US to work from home where possible and have enabled collaborative ways of working and communicating. Whilst we hope that the business will be able to return to normal operations in the coming weeks, there is the real possibility that the restrictions could be in place for the next couple of months.

Impact on the business

We are continuing to work alongside our suppliers and partners and making changes to adapt to new ways of working to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business and minimise disruption to our engineering programmes. Most activities that do not involve supplied in goods or services will be relatively unaffected.

We are in regular direct contact with our peers in the industry and have offered our manufacturing services, skilled technicians and assembly operators to ventilator manufacturers.
